HIGHLIGHTS

In our years of operation, we have had the opportunity to impact heavily on our communities by heavily promoting culture and food security while offering many a platform to earn a living through our works. We have and we are creating a foundation of the community depending on the available surrounding resources. This has been mightly possible through the help of our partners at The County Government of Tharaka Nithi, USAID, Plan International, IAS, among many other partners and individuals, as we continue striving to get more partners and funding to allow us to grow our reach.

We are proud to have successfully arranged several cultural food promotion days, took part in several cultural festivals, held several hands-on training for different groups in line with our work among many other activities, and conducted youth seminars. We shall continue to strive to be agents of growth around communities.

VALUE ADDITION

The group has its working base at Rangers Trail where they meet, train, and work from. From the training, our members have been able to produce jewelry, baskets, spices, honey, lotions, and soap among different other items that they can sell and make a living. We offer marketing for these products and connect the members to prospective clients. We keep looking for ways to make the product more appealing for markets.

CRAFT AND TALENT

The group has opened up a craft shop at RANGERS TRAIL and a nearby shopping center where they sell and display their items. The craft shop is slowly getting popular but we are still looking for strategic points to place these craft shops for tourists. We have a wide network marketing the products and are looking into ways of setting up online shops and exporting products we make.
